कभी-कभी छोटे से प्रयास आपको सुर्ख़ियों में ला देते हैं. आप सियासत में हैं तो यह और भी जरूरी है. राजस्थान के बीकानेर से सांसद अर्जुन राम मेघवाल बजट सत्र के दूसरे चरण के पहले दिन सोमवार को साइकिल से संसद भवन पहुंचे. उनके इस प्रयास को न्यूज़ चैनलों ने हाथोंहाथ लिया. अगले दिन यह खबर अखबारों में नज़र आयी. ज़ाहिर है मेघवाल इस सप्ताह रेटिंग लिस्ट में आ गए.
राजस्थान में बीकानेर सांसद अर्जुन मेघवाल बजट सत्र के दूसरे चरण के पहले दिन सोमवार को साइकिल से संसद भवन पहुंचे. मेघवाल के अनुसार उन्होंने ऐसा प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के आह्वान पर किया है. गौरतलब है कि प्रधानमंत्री ने कुछ दिनों पहले पर्यावरण सम्मेलन में कहा था कि सभी सांसदों को सप्ताह में एक दिन साइकिल से ही संसद आना चाहिए. ऐसा उन्होंने पर्यावरण में बढ़ते कॉर्बन डाईआक्साइड के प्रदूषण प्रभाव को कम करने के लिए कहा था. मेघवाल ने कहा कि वह पूरे सत्र के दौरान संसद में साइकिल से ही आएंगे और साइकिल से ही घर जाएंगेे. इसके अलावा अपने संसदीय क्षेत्र बीकानेर में भी वह साइकिल का ज्यादा से ज्यादा प्रयोग करेंगे.
