पिछले सप्ताह लालू प्रसाद यादव नक़ल के पक्ष में अपने बयान की वजह से चर्चा में रहे तो इस सप्ताह उस बयान पर सफाई की वजह से. इसके साथ ही इस सप्ताह पार्टी के एक नेता की हाथों जूता पहनने की खबरें भी चर्चा में रहीं.
उन्होंने कहा था कि किताब से देखकर लिखने की छूट का लाभ भी उन्हीं छात्रों को हो सकता है, जिन्होंने पढ़ाई की है. लालू ने कहा कि पढ़ाई नहीं करने वाले छात्रों का समय जवाब तलाशने में ही निकल जाएगा.

In his characteristic style, RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Sunday said at a public function in Buxar district enumerated how he could have handled the situation. “Did such a picture emerge during my time? I would have allowed the students to carry their books to write answers. Imagine how many of them would be able to write answers even with books at their disposal, if they have never studied. They would spend all their allocated time searching for answers,” he said, laughing all through, while the audience also cheered.

जैसा कि माना जा रहा था, आरजेडी अध्यक्ष लालू प्रसाद यादव एक दिन बाद ही नकल के मामले में दिए गए अपने बयान से पलट गए हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि बिना संदर्भ जाने मीडिया ने उनके बयान की केवल एक लाइन सस्ती लोकप्रियता पाने के लिए उछाल दी, जबकि उन्होंने इस लाइन के साथ और भी बहुत भी बातें बोली थीं. उन्होंने सफाई देते हुए कहा, ‘मेरे कहने का मतलब यह था कि नकल करने वाले लोग प्रतियोगी परीक्षाएं कभी पास नहीं कर सकते.’

राजद सुप्रीमो लालू प्रसाद को जूता पहनने में मदद करते टीवी चैनलों में दिखाए जाने संबंधी विवाद पर अनवर अहमद ने उसका खंडन करते हुए आज कहा कि उन्होंने समय बचाने के लिए केवल उनके जूते का फीता बांधा था. पूर्वी चंपारण जिला के कोटवा प्रखंड के जसौली जमुनिया गांव में पूर्व विधायक यमुना यादव की प्रतिमा का अनावरण कार्यक्रम के दौरान कल राजद के पूर्व एमएलसी अनवर अहमद को लालू को जूता पहनने में मदद करते हुए कुछ टीवी चैनलों पर दिखाया गया है. लालू के विश्वस्त माने जाने वाले अनवर अहमद 1990 में उनके मुख्यमंत्रित्व काल के दौरान उन्हें स्वादिष्ट व्यंजन उपलब्ध कराने के कारण कबाब मंत्री के तौर पर चर्चित रहे थे.
