गिरिराज सिंह के साथ-साथ गोवा के मुख्यमंत्री लक्ष्मीकांत पार्सेकर भी विवादित बयान के चलते खबरों में आये. उनका महिलाओं के रंग को लेकर एक बयान मीडिया में चर्चा बना हालांकि उन्होंने कहा कि उन्होंने इस रूप में बयान नहीं दिया जिस रूप में वह मीडिया में आया.
गोवा के मुख्यमंत्री लक्ष्मीकांत पारसेकर ने भी महिलाओं के रंग को लेकर विवादित टिप्पणी की है. मुख्यमंत्री ने मंगलवार को नर्सों को सलाह दी कि उन्हें धूप में भूख हड़ताल पर नहीं बैठना चाहिए, इससे उनका रंग काला हो जाएगा और इससे उनकी शादी की संभावना पर असर पड़ेगा. यह बात धरने पर बैठी नर्सों में से एक अनुषा सावंत ने बताई. सावंत ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री की टिप्पणी अनुचित थी. हालांकि, बुधवार को सीएम ने ऐसी किसी भी टिप्पणी से इनकार किया. सीएम ने कहा कि उन्हें नर्सों के विरोध प्रदर्शन के बारे में पता था और उन्होंने केवल इतना कहा था कि धूप में बैठने के कारण वे अलग दिख रही थीं. यह हल्के-फुल्के अंदाज में की गई टिप्पणी थी.

गोवा के मुख्यमंत्री लक्ष्मीकांत पारसेकर ने उन आरोपों को नकार दिया है, जिनमें कहा गया था कि उन्होंने नर्सों को धूप में हड़ताल न करने की सलाह दी थी. मुख्यमंत्री ने ऐसी किसी भी प्रकार की टिप्पणी से इंकार किया है. उन्होंने बुधवार को कहा, “आंदोलन कर रही नर्सों को मैं जानता हूं. मैंने कभी शादी के प्रस्ताव या इससे संबंधी कोई टिप्पणी नहीं की. मैंने सिर्फ निजी राय दी थी क्योंकि वे लड़कियां पहले भी मेरे पास आ चुकी थीं, लेकिन कल जब मैंने उन्हें देखा तो उनमें पहले से अंतर दिख रहा था. हालांकि मैंने शादी को लेकर कोई टिप्पणी नहीं की.”

राजस्थान प्रदेश महिला कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष शकुंतला रावत ने कहा कि कि गोवा के मुख्यमंत्री को नर्सिंग स्टॉफ की महिलाएं ज्ञापन देने गई तो उन्हें मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा अपमानित कर उनके खिलाफ आपत्तिजनक शब्दों का प्रयोग किया गया. उन्होंने कहा कि इसी प्रकार केन्द्रीय राज्यमंत्री ने तो सारी सीमा पार कर दी.
