तंबाकू उत्पादों के पैकेट पर सचित्र चेतावनी का आकार बढ़ाने की अधिसूचना वापस लेने को लेकर उठे विवाद में अब सीधे प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने दखल दिया है. उन्होंने स्वास्थ्य मंत्री जेपी नड्डा को कहा है कि इस मामले पर कतई कदम पीछे नहीं खींचे जाएं. पीएम ने तंबाकू उत्पादों के पैकेट के 60 से 65 फीसद हिस्से पर चेतावनी छापने का आदेश दिया है. इसी तरह उन्होंने ऐसे सांसदों को संबंधित संसदीय समिति से भी हटने को कहा है, जिनका खुद तंबाकू कारोबार से कोई हित जुड़ा है.
