Home minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday reiterated his faith in the patriotism of Indian Muslims and asserted that the influence of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) was negligible on the Indian youth. But, in the same breath, he cautioned the global community on the appeal of ISIS among the young and educated and found the threat of attacks by `doit-yourself lone wolves’ real.Addressing an international audience at a counter-terror conference in Jaipur, Singh said the government had set up an expert committee to study the linkages between terrorism and internet.

केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने कहा है कि खतरनाक आतंकी संगठन आईएस भारत के मुसलमानों को प्रभावित करने में पूरी तरह से विफल साबित हुआ है और ऐसा इस समुदाय के देश में मुख्यधारा से जुड़े होने के कारण हुआ है. गृह मंत्री ने पाकिस्तान पर आतंकवाद को बढ़ावा देने का आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि भारतीय मुसलमान देशभक्त हैं और वे कट्टरपंथी विचारधारा से प्रभावित नहीं होते. अतिवाद उनकी प्रकृति के खिलाफ है. उन्होंने कहा कि भारत को अपनी विविधता पर गर्व है.

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह व सूबे के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री अहमद हसन ने शुक्रवार शाम ट्रॉमा सेंटर पहुंचकर जख्मी यात्रियों का हाल लिया। गृहमंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने भी एक-एक घायल के पास जाकर उनका हाल लिया। जख्मी लोगों से हिम्मत नहीं छोड़ने की सलाह दी। उन्होंने डॉक्टर व अफसरों की टीम से जांच व दवाओं की उपलब्धता के बारे में जानकारी ली। अफसरों को निर्देश दिए जख्मी यात्रियों के इलाज में किसी तरह की कोताही न बरती जाए।

रेल दुर्घटना के घायलों के इलाज का खर्च रेलवे उठाएगा। शुक्रवार की शाम ट्रॉमा सेंटर मरीजों का हाल लेने पहुंचे रेल राज्यमंत्री मनोज सिन्हा ने यह जानकारी दी। मामले की जांच के लिए कमिटी बना दी गई है। दोपहर बाद चार बजे गृहमंत्री राजनाथ सिंह और रेल राज्यमंत्री मनोज सिन्हा केजीएमयू के ट्रॉमा सेंटर पहुंचे और आपदा प्रबंधन वार्ड में भर्ती घायलों का हाल चाल जाना। उन्होंने कुलपति से भी इलाज की स्थिति की जानकारी ली। गृहमंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने रेलवे की ओर से किए गए राहत कार्यों की तारीफ की।
