कांग्रेस की सरकार चली गयी है लेकिन भ्रष्टाचार की खबरें पार्टी नेताओं का पीछा नहीं छोड़ रही हैं. पूर्व मंत्री और कांग्रेस नेता रेणुका चौधरी आरोप लगा कि उन्होंने पिछले साल चुनाव से पूर्व एक स्थानीय नेता से विधानसभा टिकट दिलाने के नाम पर कथित रूप से 1.10 करोड़ रूपये लिए थे और जब इस व्यक्ति की पत्नी ने रूपये वापस मांगे तो उसके साथ गालीगलौज किया.
The Khammam Urban Police have registered a case of cheating against Congress MP Renuka Chowdhury. This comes after the High Court in Hyderabad gave a direction on a petition filed by B Kalavathi, widow of Dr Bhukya Ramachandra Naik, a surgeon and Congress supporter from Wyra in Khammam District. Kalavathi has alleged that Chowdhury took Rs 1.10 crore from her husband, promising to get him a ticket to contest from Wyra Assembly constituency during last year’s elections.
Kalavathi alleged that the ticket was not allotted to her husband and when he sought the money back, Chowdhury refused to return it. She said her husband had borrowed the money to pay Chowdhury, and was under immense pressure to repay the debts, which led to his untimely death last November at the age of 48.

Bhukya Kalavathi, the wife of a tribal leader from Telangana, accused Congress MP Renuka Chowdhury of cheating after the latter allegedly took Rs 1.10 crore to give a Congress Party ticket to her husband to enable him contest from the Wyra state assembly constituency. She further alleged that Chowdhury did not give her husband the ticket, but gave it to somebody else. The Hyderabad High Court has ordered the police to register a case against Chowdhury on Kalawati’s complaint. Kalawati has also reportedly accused Chowdhury of abusing her when she sought a return of the money.

The Telangana Police have registered a case of cheating and also under Prevention of Atrocities Against SC/ST Act against Congress MP Renuka Chowdhury for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 1.10 crores from an aspiring election candidate.

The Hyderabad police have booked Congress MP Renuka Chowdhury for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 1.75 crore and promising an Assembly ticket to a woman. She has been booked for cheating and criminal intimidation.

“I and my two little kids became destitute. When we went to ask for the money we were abused by the MP (Chowdhury) and her men. The police refused to register a case. It was only after a petition in HC that this case was registered on March 16… If I don’t get justice, I have no option but to commit suicide,” Kalavathi told HT.

शिकायतकर्ता बी कलावती ने आरोप लगाया था कि चौधरी ने उसके पति रामजी से वायरा विधानसभा सीट पर चुनाव लड़ने के मकसद से टिकट दिलाने के लिए रूपये लिए थे.
