Pithoragarh’s Kotli Vishnu Temple declared as National Heritage

A huge achievement has been added to the account of Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand state. The Archaeological Survey of India has declared the historic Kotali Vishnu temple as a national heritage. This is the first national heritage of Pithoragarh. After being declared the National Heritage, this temple will be included in the religious tourism circuit of the country. Its notification has been released at the end of December 2018. After joining the list of national heritage, the Dehradun unit of the Archaeological Survey Department will now be responsible for the maintenance of this temple. In the third week of January, the team of the team will inspect the temple and prepare the template for the protection work.
